The Lord Leconfield Branch of the Pony Club was one of the earliest branches to be formed and covers the area between Petworth in the West and Billingshurst in the East. In 2019, The Pony Club is celebrating its 90th Anniversary and LLPC will be celebrating 85 years !
We try to keep a balance between having fun and learning how to ride and look after your pony. Hopefully we achieve this in a friendly fashion, welcoming new members of all ages and also by having teams in many disciplines competing successfully at the Area competitions and going forward to the National Championships, too!
Please take a look around the website and feel free to contact any of the organisers to discuss joining the branch or, if you are already a member, putting your name down to join in a rally or lesson!
I am sure you are all aware that all group Pony Club activities have ceased until the Government is in a position to lift the current restricitons. Advice is to fall in line with policies set by the owner or manager of your livery yard with regard to access to your horse or pony. If you are able to keep your horses at home, consider adopting a policy that is least likely to result in the requirement to call upon the services of the NHS. Unnecessarily risky activities are advised against.
Please do visit the Pony Club’s advice webpage, where you may find some helpful information, which is updated on a regular basis:
|Coronavirus Advice Webpage|
Otherwise, if you are unsure what to do with a particular situation with your horse or pony, please do feel you can contact either Sue or Clare and we will try to provide helpful advice.
Be practical, sensible and keep safe!

Ellie Barnwell represented Lord Leconfield in the Pony Club show jumping at Royal Windsor today, 17th May. They jumped a good round but unfortunately rolled a pole on the last jump!
Note that you should return the Membership form to the Lord Leconfield Pony Club branch and NOT to The Pony Club HQ
